Position Overview: We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation sessions, and other healthcare facilities in a safe and courteous manner. 

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport patients to and from appointments using company provided vehicles.
• Assist patients in boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the vehicle, including regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring a smooth and efficient transportation process.
• Communicate effectively with management, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
• Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen
• Background check
• Defensive driving and completion of various other required trainings (provided by Gem Transport)
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Previous experience in transportation or customer service preferred.
