Our team is committed to ensuring that patients arrive at their appointments comfortably and on time, allowing them to access the care they need with ease.</p> <p><b>Position Overview:</b> We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation sessions, and other healthcare facilities in a safe and courteous manner.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Safely transport patients to and from appointments using company provided vehicles.</li> <li>Assist patients in boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness and safety standards of the vehicle, including regular inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.</li> <li>Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring a smooth and efficient transportation process.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with management, dispatchers, and other team members to coordinate schedules and routes.</li> <li>Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families.</li> </ul> <p><b>Qualifications:</b></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</li> <li>CPR/First Aid Certified</li> <li>Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen</li> <li>Background check</li> <li>Defensive driving and completion of various other required trainings (provided by Gem Transport) </li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.</li> <li>Previous experience in transportation or customer service preferred.</li> </ul> <p><b>Benefits:</b></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Competitive pay: $18 per hour</li> <li>Comprehensive training program to ensure your success in the role.</li> <li>Company vehicle that can be taken home daily for start/stop time convenience.</li> <li>Rewarding work environment with opportunities for advancement within the company.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>How to Apply:</b> If you are passionate about helping others and have a desire to make a positive impact in your community, we encourage you to apply.
